XLHost is a division of eNet Inc. eNet Inc. is a privately held organization that was founded in 1993 as a multi-line bulletin board system in Columbus, Ohio.

Realizing the potential of the Internet, eNet began offering Internet services to residential and business customers throughout Ohio and surrounding states. eNet quickly became one of the largest Internet Service Providers in the Midwestern United States. In fact, eNet was one of the first companies to offer Dedicated Servers to clients worldwide. eNet commissioned the development of what is to believed to be the very first “remote reset” technology used for dedicated servers in the mid 1990s. eNet constructed a state of the art Network Operations Center and has focused on giving its customers personal service and support, this is what eNet attributes its astounding customer retention rate to.
